Dealing with Cancer, It’s a Family Affair – A Cancer Survivor’s Program
Four Corners Health Department is partnering with Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center to present Dealing with Cancer, It’s a Family Affair – A Cancer Survivor’s program.
Cancer survivors, family members, friends, and healthcare professionals are invited to join in a telehealth conference with Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center specialists on Friday, June 26 from 9 am – 12:30 pm at Four Corners Health Department. They will discuss topics to help cancer survivors and their caregivers deal with the multiple dimensions of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. Topics include emotional impact, genetic risk, nutrition, physical wellness, and spirituality.
Continuing Education Credits are being offered for nursing, social workers/mental health practitioners, and general education. Registration runs from 8:30 am – 9 am, with the program following from 9 am – 12:30 pm. Lunch will be provided, so registration is required.
